Dance Teacher Certificate Program

Do you love to dance? Do you want a career doing something you love, while still having control over your time and life? Even if you have little or no previous dance training experience, this program will teach you everything you need to know to have a successful full- or part-time career in the exciting world of Latin & Ballroom dancing! In addition to learning over 10 different Ballroom and Latin dances, you will also learn how to teach private and group lessons, sell lessons, market yourself as a dance instructor and more! This current semester, we will cover the Bronze and Silver Level Dances (Rumba, Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Jive, Paso Doble, Salsa, Jitterbug and Line Dance). Attending this certification program will provide you with the dance skills, sales skills, and confidence necessary for a career in this growing industry. You can choose to enroll in selected dances or in the entire program to learn the entire range of dances. After completing all five semesters (Rumba, Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Jive, Paso Doble) you will be qualified to take the <IDTA> International Dance Teachers' Association Certification Exam.
